When you open an account with CORO, we verify your phone number, email, and your identity using your state-issued identification.

Federal and State laws require all financial institutions to obtain, verify, and record the identity information of all their customers. In addition, this verification process helps ensure CORO is safe and secure all its customers.

You also have the option of providing CORO with your social security number (“SSN”) as part of our enhanced identity verification program. This allows CORO to comply with anti-money laundering laws, which in turn permits customers to perform higher-value transactions (providing your social security number increases your transaction limits).

Like all user information collected by CORO, all personal identifying information is kept secure and is never sold to or shared with third parties.

For more information on how your data is protected, please see how Coro protects your privacy and the Coro Privacy Policy.
